I need to replace my front drive shaft really soon, however I have a Tom Woods shaft currently that was installed before I purchased the Disco, and I am also lifted.
I was wondering if a stock OEM front driveshaft can be bolted right back up in place? |

If you do decide to replace and not rebuild- call Tom Woods Shafts and they will have you measure the space between the flanges to allow for your additional lift. My shaft went South last week and the guy's at Tom Woods made me one up the following day to my spec and shipped overnight.

I already had a Tom Woods shaft installed on the front and on the back. However when I sent my front drive shaft into them, they just called me back today and stated that it was so badly damaged that it's going to cost nearly as much to rebuild it as it would to just buy a new one.
So needless to say they're sending that one back along with a newer model shaft as well. |
