Spark plug question. - Land Rovers Only

According your experience what spark plug you recommend.

Pull out your old one, and get one that looks just like it.

The most reliable plug was installed at the factory.

I have found the best performance with Bosch Silvers for the Rover. After that, I like the NGKR. But a lot of people have opinions, don't we? lol.

Whats the stock gap on a 4.0L? Whats the reccommended gap?

.035 for a RRC 3.9l look under the hood on the radiator support it tells you on a sticker there. The factory setting and that is what I would run unless you have done some ignition system mods.

Last time I looked, I dont recall seeing a sticker. I mean, the sticker was there I guess I just didnt really look at it. Usually its just A/C information.

Truth be told, I've only ever bought spark plugs for Rotary engines. They dont have a gap, just heat ranges. And one brand makes them, essentially.

Rover goes for repairs in 2 weeks, the full treatment (rebuilt heads, all leaky gaskets replaced, which is pretty well all of them). Figure the least I could pay for is some good wires and plugs.
