Question Sport Button

When should i use the "Sport" mode button. I mainly drive on the highway and sit in alot of traffic, any benefits to using sport vs not using sport?

I couldnt find much in the manual about it.

Thanks,
Tommy

Hi Tommy,

The sport button will keep the gearbox in a lower gear longer before changing up so you will get better accelleration.

I frequently just pull back the stick into 3 and accellerate when I need to, my wife keeps her vehicle in Sport Mode all the time

Sport mode does not equal good Gas milage, if you think your Disco is bad on fuel now. keep it in sport mode. LOL

Sport mode was designed more for paved mountain passes if you live in a area with hills, it's good because it will hold your lower gears for a longer time before shifting to help with the acceleration.

if your just driving in traffic with periods of 65mph sprints. no need for sport mode.
