Is this a D2?
If so, (from memory) you have two hoses from the reservoir. One goes to the steering box and one goes to the bottom of the PS pump. On the PS pump you have 2 hoses. The one comes from the reservoir, the other goes around to the front of the radiator and then back to the steering box. If it is comping out as soon as you add (Without starting the vehicle) I would check the hoses that run from the reservoir to the box and pump. |

I don't think it would be hard, but you have to figure-out where the leak is coming from before you start replacing parts because the box and pump are not cheap.
I changed out the steering box and all PS hoses on my D2 and the hardest part was that hard-line PS hose that runs from the box to the pump. It is a pain to get to the brackets in front of the radiator. Where are you located? |

There's an independent rover shop in Durham NC that I went to once when I used to live in NC. AB recommended them to me from the list of mechanics they have on file. I believe the name was flying circus english cars.
