Default Sticky Valves

My valves are definitely sticking. I have changed my plugs and wires and they were toast. Now I got this sticky valve problem. I hate to even think about trading the truck since I have only had it 4 months. What did you guys do. Its a 2000 Disco with 85,456 miles on it. Not the coil because the light comes on and goes off periodically.

Try some aggressive top end cleaner to see if you can ge the carbon out of there. It just might work. Otherwise, just have it fixed at a competent shop. I thought a couple of my trucks were starting the sticky valve syndrome and they cured with carbon depletion cleaning.

Try finding a local Amzoil dealer and get a bottle of Engine Flush.

Use it and get a oil change and see if that helps.

You might also try running some diesel oil for a little bit as it has more detergent in it.
