I have a 99 DII I have been reading alot of post that have to do with CDL on the Tranfer Case. My question is What exactly does the CDL do and what does it stand for? I have been reading about three nipples on top of the T-case on certain years of the LR DII. What years did they offer CDL on DII's? I am learning tons of very useful information reading all the post and it is amazing what you can learn about your vehicle..
Thanks guys I really appreciate the advise... |

Center Diff lock.
Only 1 nipple needed to activate the CDL giving you 50% more traction by locking the t/case. Here is a picture of the t/case with the nipple in the middle of a round plate bolted to the top of the case with 3 bolts. When you get ready for more info, PM me and we can talk.
