Where is the best place to put the winch selenoid from a superwinch x9 when mounting it on a tjm winch tray on a D2? is it best to put the selenoid under the hood somewhere? pictures would be great!!!!

If you are going to mount the winch control switch on the dash, having the solenoids under the hood is not bad. If you are going to use the standard control lead, you are best to have it easily accessable, so on the front bull bar is good. If you spray all the solenoid connections with a battery terminal protector, you should not have issues with dirst or water.
