Curious of what yall thought of me possibly putting...
- RTE 2 inch lift RR3 in the rear / RR4 in the front - Bilstein Shocks 16x7 black steelies - RTE bumper with skid plates and either BFG MT's or AT's i would like to have 265/75/16 which are 32's (im pretty sure) - 9000K lb warn winch - odyssey battery this is for a '03 disco II, i guess my other questions are would i run in to other driveline problems with 32's and a 2in lift, would it be wise to do any more mods to ensure reliability. I wont be running it on hard core trails, i just hate the way it looks right now and want to have a kick ass disco II Comments highly recommended !!! |

Before you do anything, go get your front drive shafts 2 greaseless u-joints replaced.
As for the lift it is fine except for the shocks, RTE will also tell you, use OME's HD shocks which are 1/2" longer then the Bilstein's. For the tires you have mentioned, use 16X8" wheels, not the 7". Add a set of stainless steel extended brake lines. I am not real keen on front skid plates on D2's, which will greatly restict the air flow, that already run way to hot. Throw in a new OME steering stabilizer and you should be fine.
