tail light downgrade

are both disco2 tail lamp styles interchangeable?

i have an 03 with G4 lamp guards, and i think they fit far better on the 99-02 lamps. i'm aware the bulb configuration is significantly different, but i'm capable of handling that.

does anybody know if 99-02 lamps can be fitted to an 03-04?

i dont see why not, wiring is the only issue. the bolt patterns are the same

with enough work, anything can be done.

I agree with Stolen just straighten out the wiring and you should be straight.

yep they should fit fine as a mate of mine had the 99-02 style and changed to the new ones but the lamp layout is different in that
the indicator on you disco are up high in the older style the indicator were in the bumper all you would have to do is re wire that small section and it should all be good
