Default Is there a way to add Adobe 7.0 to ..... a piece of software I own?

I hate the Adobe Acrobat 4.0 it comes bundled with!

Is there anyway to add Acrobat 7.0 to the disk?

And regarding copywrite laws, could I make copies of this and give them away here because I'm in Bolivia where there are no laws?

Thanks guys,

Erik

Do you have 4.0 already loaded on your computer? The 7.0, is it a upgrade or a complete version? If it is and up grade, I would think you could download it on top of your 4.0. If your 7.0 is a complete version then go and load it on your computer, make sure it does what you want and then you can either get rid of the 4.0 version or just leave it alone.

I have 7 on my computer. But I can't load the software straight off my computer, it only loads off the CD which as 4.0 already. I don't pay for crap so i must have the free-ware 7.0 which I thought was complete and free anyways.

I'm going to make a folder an copy the "contents" of the cd and try to install 7.0 on top of that. We'll see how that works.

Any idea about making copies of the cd?

I don't want the owners here to get mad at me.

Viva la lawless nation!

Sonofagun! Thier isntall software is so that it only gives me the option of repairing or unistalling because I already have it on my system. Ah well, I guess 4,0 is good enough

If you have Acrobat full version 7.0 you should be able to just install it on the machine.. On my PC here, I have 5,6 and 7 installed..

I have 7 on the machine, but I can't load the contents of the CD when they are copied to the machine, they only load from the CD itself.

Ohh.. You're talking about the R*** CD ... No, you can only use acrobat 4.0 on this.. they have an ecryption package in there that limits it to that. I even asked one of my friends who works for Adobe on the acrobat team if he could help, and he couldn't figure it out.

Hmm.... interesting. Thanks for the heads up.

In other news, I found a computer in the basement and salvaged the CD drive, now my R*** CD always has a home within my monstercomputer.

Any ideas on the legalities of my making copies of the CD since I'm way outside US copyright justisdiction?
