Burncycle Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 261 Gallery: 0	Thread repair kits Does anybody know if a thread repair kit will work for the lower intake manifold bolt holes and if so what size to get? Whenever I did the head gaskets I stripped the threads in one of the holes __________________ 2001 DII, 2" Rovertym lift with OME shocks, D1 Cdl linkage, La Ruta My roof Rack, 4 Off road lights, Custom exhaust no cats and flowmaster 40 series, Trimmed front bumper. [Very sadly sold ] 2010 F150 XLT 5.4L V8 stock for now... Towing my Rover wherever its little heart desires.

osiristheclown Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Posts: 376 Gallery: 0	Yes, it will work. Pretty sure they are 8mmX1.25. You want a good shop vac to suck up and metal chips from drilling the lower manifold to install the insert.
