Default Total Coolant Loss

On my way back from grabbing some drive thru, I lost all the coolant in my 04' disco. The truck kept running fine and i was able to limp it home (less than 1/4 mile from when it started over heating. There's no coolant left in the system. I assume it's a blown hose and coolant is covering the front passengers side tire, brake and suspension. What would be my best plan of action to repair this? It's pretty dark out and I don't have the greatest flash light so I can't tell which hose it may be. Is this something an auto parts store may have in stock? Any help would be appreciated! Also, the truck has 63k miles on it.

twist out your coolant tank counter clockwise pull it up and check the hose in the bottom.

Read my reply on the LRRF.
By the way you drove the truck after you blew the coolant, it is safe to say you are not very mechanical and it would be best to have it towed to a mechanic so it can be verified if you also blew a head gasket or dropped a sleeve.

if there isn't any coolant at the sensor (loss of coolant) the temp of the engine (metal parts) was much higher than the 250* the little red light turns on at.

I failed to mention that there was still quite a bit coolant coming out from underneath the truck (not just dripping) when I got home so it did not all dump out in an instant. I am going to have it towed to a shop tomorrow though just to be safe.

Found the source of the leak today. A small plastic tube on the bottom of the overflow tank for the coolant broke off, causing the coolant to spill straight down. I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere online for a 2004. Does anyone know if this is the same as earlier year disco's? I'm still planning on getting it towed to the shop, just want to fix this myself first to avoid being charged an arm and a leg for labor in the shop.

I believe Paul Grant mentioned that he has parted out a few D2s recently. Check with him.
