Default At a total loss for ideas!

Ok, well I have had this 99 DII for about two years. It has always had the service engine soon light on! It has between 9 and 11 codes on it! Most of them were random multiple misfires, heat circuit o2 out of range, and every other o2 code out there! both banks, and both up and down stream! I did have a lean code, on both banks, changed the MAF, and those did go away! What confuses me is that with these codes you would think the engine wouldn't even run worth a crap! The only problem/symptom I have is that on warm idle, she shakes like a wet dog! Cold she is smooth, which still seems to be a lean problem ?! Right????? Well another thing that confuses me is with all these O2 codes, the fuel milage doesn't seem to be affected! 14city, 18hwy! So WTF??? I need to sell this thing soon, but won't get nuthn for it with SES light!!! The dealer did a head job just 200 miles before I bought it, so hope this helps! I am wondering if the head job was botched?

What milage and what are the exact codes you are throwing(numbers). That may help get some more answers.

We can't guess for you, if you want some imput get the exact codes along with mileage and what tune up related have you done to this over the last 2 years.
Why let a check light stay on for 2 year and not do anything, all you are doing is running up the damage costs.

As to why I have let it go for two years it is a long story! In short like I said it does not seem to affect milage or performance. The only sign of a problem is rough idle when warm. It did have a bad MAF, I replaced it, and those codes came off. However no change at warm idle.
Here are the codes
p0307
p0161
p0141
p0138
p0446
p0160
p0307

wow that's quite the laundry list of codes. Some of the smarter members will have to check in on this one. I have no idea where to even start.

sounds like the rear 02 sensors got the wiring switched. ask the dealer if the trans or the tc was ever pulled out.

and its possible the misfire on number seven could be a hanging valve.

sounds like time for an overhaul.

Yes I was thinking about doing an overhaul! I did that on my D1 last fall. It cost me about $1000.00 I was going to sell this after I get all the issues straight! Would an engine rebuild increase it's value?
