well...i'll be honest and tell you it was a.. a....a hyundai.. yes a hyundai. it was going about 35mph..and i was going about 40mph. so for all you physics majors, it was an elastic collision in which our combined speeds were 75mph. She hit dead on to my drivers door, and her front bumper separated the running board from the rest of my car..anyway, i'm still just awestruck about the fact we are still alive...wait 'til you see the pics from the tow-yard!!!

no more for me

Dude.....I'm very glad to hear that you and your girlfriend are ok.
I think the guys gave you some great advice regarding dealing with insurance adjusters, be tough and you will do well.

Your neck and back must be killing you by now........in addition to the emotional distress now that your sex life is ruined with your gf.........you'll be driving a RR in no time....lol

Just to let you know how lucky you are, my sister rolled her F-350 Diesel superduty, the roof folded in on her cutting her head open from eye to ear....300+ stitches and several days in the hospital. You are a lucky man indeed.

Sorry to hear about your accident! Any other vehicle it could have been worse.

As for your insurance company. Every time you see them make sure you are wearing a neck brace and your hand in a cast up to your elbow. I know if it where my insurance company. They would say that my truck has just a scratch and give me $20.00 to fix it.

If you had after market products on you truck remember it was a $1,500 bumper and don't forget that $2,500 stereo you had in the truck!

WOW
I have been out all weekend and just saw your Rover on its lid. After reading further it sounds like you and your girl friend are OK.
I glad to hear that.
Thank the Lord you were in a Disco. LR takes alot of trash talk, but they come thru when it really matters.

Glad to hear that you are ok. Definitely thank God that things weren't worse. Looks like the rover took a pretty good hit, and it's very impressive that the roof did not cave in as much. Good luck with the insurance company and the hunt for a new Rover.

hey guys...i'd like to thank all of you for your care, thank yous, and support. I really do appreciate all of it. As far as new rovers are concerned, i think i'll stick with an '01, but this time i'm going with an SE, i don't need all the hub-bub with the SE7. I wish i could personally thank each and every one of you, but right now...i don't have the time. I have some close up pictures that my dad took for me today, and i will be posting those later.

Thanks again, Jordan.

Oh lord....yeah man....glad you are alright...wish I could say the same thing for your Disco.

Probably from its durable construction, the truck probably saved you guys big time, our trucks are built well.

Hope you find another rover man.

OH MAN...that looks even more brutal in the day time.

Man, your Disco took one for the team, may it rest in peace. Glad to see that the whole roof wasn't all collapsed.
