Default Tranny Fluid

Ok, I'm having a brain fart I guess.

I was wondering how can I check the Tranny fluid Levels.
and where is the entry point if I need to add fluid.

There are no dip sticks to check your tranny fluid on a D2. You have to crawl under the tranny when it is warm and running and open the fill plug on the tranny pan. If it is low no fluid will come out and you need to add, if it drips out when the plug is pulled it is OK.
How long has it been since you changed your fluid?

The plug is on the front of the tranny reservoir and takes a 8mm allan socket... Be VERY careful if you pull this plug when it's warm... the fluid gets really hot... Don't do it after you've been driving around all day... wait for it to cool down a little...

26,000 miles on the fluid, it is time to change it anyway.
