Have you changed your filter, how many miles on the truck?
As for refilling it there are a number od different pumping devices you can buy at the auto parts store. For me the easiest way was to use a soft bottle with a hose on it, put the hose in the tranny fill hole and squeeze.
You'll take between 4 and 6 qts. of fluid, I would suggest you put a bottle of Lucas tranny additive in for good luck.
Somewhere around 4 qts. if it starts flowing back out the hole, cap it off, start the engine and let it run for a minute or so, turn off the engine and carefully pull the tranny plug, if it flows out, you are OK, if not add some more.

Inspect the pan for any unusual pieces of metal, realize that there will be one or two small piles if material shavings in the bottom of the pan and that is OK.
With your mileage I would add a bottle of Lucas, just to help her along.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is Lucas and where is it added.

What gasoline addatives do you recommend?

Lucas Oil Comp. makes a great line of products, for engine oil suppliments, transmission conditioning and leak problems, power steering additives the clean up the p/s system and also are great for stopping slow steering leaks, and a couple of different fuel and injector additives.
This company has been out for quite a while and there products work well.
As for your question regarding gas additives, what gas octane do you run, how many miles on your truck and have you ever decarboned your engine???
