When I shift from reverse to drive, I notice a hesistation as I press on the gas. After a second, it feels like the gear drops into place and then nothing unusual.
I had posted earlier about a problem with my steering wheel shaking and it was suggested I look into the double cardon joint. I've been reading about this potentially causing transimisson problems. Could these two issues be related? |

NO
Check your fluid level in the transmission, how many miles on the truck? When I mentioned the double cardon failing, it was not to mean that it was causing your steering wheel to shake, it was just to make sure you know about it's problem. i believe your tires are out of balance still. Go have them checked and find a mechanic who can check your fluid level from under the truck. Good luck, Mike |
