Default Trying to locate the IAT sensor..

Does anyone have a diagram or picture of the IAT sensor of an '02 series II? I'm trying to add a mod to it to see if it will increase my MPG. thanks.

It is an incorporated part of the MAF, not a seperate part.

FYI--those cheap E-bay "performance chips" (in-line resistors) will not improve your MPG for very long anyway. The ECU will adapt or throw a code.

I don't know yet, I'm on my first tank, but it seems pretty good, already put 221 miles and have a one notch under a half tank left.

Are you saying to use Sport Mode, or that you arn't sure..?

And Acetone... explain that process, or lack there of one to me

means these are highly questionable techniques.

Sport mode "may" help by getting you up to cruising speed more efficiently.

Adding a certain amount of acetone in your gas tank "may" help the combustion process for better efficiency.

Storing Bosch plugs in the acetone "will" keep them out of your truck.
