Hey guys; I am buying five door actuators from a guy who is parting out his land rover DII 99. I also have a 99DII and he is having problems removing the actuators.
This is his quote "I can't figure out how to get them out of there. From what I can see, all the bolts are out of it and it's free, but it won't move at all" Is their a certain way you have to remove the door actuators or should they come out of the door easily? Any advise on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys |

Yep, the window frame has to come out, and in the front, that means the side mirrors also.

I just unscrewed that side of the door frame and finessed the actuator until it was free, same with the install, did not remove the entire frame.
