What kind of noise will the idler pulley make when it goes to hell? Mine makes a squel when I first start the truck in the AM and goes away after 15 min. I will have to ask the stealership about that

Your truck looks like an '04, I think most of them had the steel pulley. It's just a mild whirring noise anyway, no squeal. We had a couple of issues with PS pumps being machined crooked, so the belt did not run true. Noisy on startup. It's a shot. |
