Default Update on my baby!

So.. she's been at the dealership for over a week now, and I really am not pleased that pretty much nothing has been worked on, but that's another story.

I had an oil leak, so I had them look at it, and they said it was coming from the plug. And that it is normal to replace the plug after every oil change????? That doesn't make any sense to me at all!...

The main problem was that it is still leaning. They have recalibrated the suspension, and all the readings are normal. They keep asking me if it was in a car accident, and I know this truck hasn't. Any accident that would make it mean would be reported on a Carfax report, and this truck was a lease vehicle, so it would have had to been reported.

They are bringing an independent body shop person to come in and look at the frame.

What's going on??

The dealership says this is the first LR that they've ever seen lean like this.. man, this is frustrating!..

any thoughts??

Thanks!

John-Robert

It is possible that it was involved in an accident. It would only show up on carfax if it was reported.

Mmmmm... a lot of idiots out there take these things off road and don't know what they're doing. As capable as these things are, could be easy to mess up the body trying to do something stupid.
I've got some buddies that I would never let drive my truck...seen a very capable J33P sink into a river bed. You just never know who was behind the wheel doing what before you got it.
Could be wrong, but just a possibility
