Hi all,
I'm starting to hate water, rain and everything wet. Some of you might remember that water flooding into my dashboard causing my radio to short, and having to re-enter the security code. Now water is getting into the dash again, now and other electrics are now failing. In addition, the radio has again taken a soaking and now has decided it won't ever switch off! Power button does nothing, it stays on when I switch the engine off, I've even taken the fuse for that circuit out of the fuse-box and it still doesn't go off. So now the Rover has been sitting on the drive with its radio running for 4 days, and has drained the battery flat. Two questions: 1. Does anyone know how to remove the radio from the dash to check it out (can't see any screws, fixings, or any easy way to get at it without taking the dash apart). and 2. Is it true that if I move to the Ghobi Desert then my car won't get rained on and I won't get these problems anymore?.... |
