Default Wet Floors/Bubbling Noise?

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2004 DII that for the last 2 months has had a very wet floor (Water Only - No Coolant) and not that the weather is turning colder where I am, when I start the truck cold, I can here some sort of bubbling noise somewhere behind the dash.

Can anyone tell me what they think is going on here?

I am thinking that I might have a blocked drain line somewhere and water is backing up and overflowing into the cab, is this reasonable?

Thanks in advance

Mike

For the love of all that is good and holy, your diaphragm style check valves for the condensate drains are clogged. You have 2 options crawl under the truck and on either side of the transmission coming through the floor you will see two nipples sticking out, pull them out and prepare to get wet and stinky. Option two take the hoses loose from the inside, prepare to catch a cup of water or so and slip a fish tape down the hose and poke them out from on top.

You can also have a sun roof drain leaking or the somewhat typical "A" pillar leak that Rover has a TSB out on.
What ever you do, pull up all your carpet before you rust out the floor, grow a terrible case of mold or trash your carpets and do it today or you are going to be looking a lot of rust down the road, rotted carpet and or some terrible mold smell.
