The EFuel100 MicroFueler is the world's first portable ethanol micro-refinery system; it replaces the traditional ethanol reflux column system with a solid state distillation technology, making it possible for homeowners and small businesses to safely and cost-effectively create their own fuel, on-site.

interesting if you don't mind a $10,000 initial outlay plus the costs of the sugar and yeast to brew it.
Let's not forget whatever you have to do to your Rover or lesser car to make it work on ethanol

Keep in mind ethanol is a less efficient fuel source. And causes plenty problems of its own. Plus vehicle must be equipped to take it. Ethanol is a waste IMO.
