What would cause this? - Land Rovers Only

What would cause hesitation taking off from a dead stop? It's nothing to do with the motor itself becuase it runs nice and smooth and revs up easily. However at times it seems as if it's just not putting the power down to the ground. Sometimes it will freely rev and other times it will just shutter some before driving like normal once again.

Plugs, Wires, coil pack? CEL? Blinking?

What year, when was it last tuned, when was the tranny last serviced, any check engine light.
How many miles on it and what gas do you use?
