My mechanic explained this once to me.
He showed me under the front spoiler where there is a bar that has a 13mm and 17 mm bolt that you loosen and either wrench the bar towards you or away from you to turn the steering wheel. Anyone remember which direction goes where ? ![]() |

I don't have a clue what you're talking about.
Is the problem that you're steering wheel isn't centered when you're wheels are straight?

That's your steering rod, one side is RH thread and the other is LH thread. It sets your alignment so I wouldn't touch it if I were you.
Bring it to a shop and have it aligned properly. If your steering wheel is off center then figure out why it's off center (panhard bushings might be bad, you recently installed a lift, etc). The longer bar in the rear is your track rod. Give us some more info and maybe we can help.

Then this last year ive noticed twice that the steering wheel was off. Looks easy enough to do, I just wanted to save time and know what direction went where. Thanks. |
