Default where can I find recall list

For my 2000 D2.

Going to the dealer on wednesday and was wondering if all the recalls had been done before I bought the Disco.

Don't waste your time looking, just ask your dealer to run your truck for recalls when you are there, they are the only one that can tell you for sure what Rover has done on your truck in the past.

Reason for asking, is that I'm having problems with my exhaust, where the connection at the Y-pipe keeps cracking around the bolts and I end up with exhaust leaks. I think that there were recalls on exhaust manifolds and I'm not sure what else in the exhaust could have been recalled.

For some reason, I have a feeling that my dealer would not necessarily tell me if I don't bring it up. Like the Idler pulley thing. I replaced mine by their suggestion and paid for the pulley and belt. Did the instasllation myself, to find out a couple of weeks later that these had been recalled?!? I never actually mentionned it, but I don't forget.

So, as far as you know.....regarding the exhaust on a 2000 D2. Any recalls on the exhaust, from the manifold to the tail pipe ?????

When you see the dealer, request a copy of the recall list, it will show what has been done and what is still open to being done.
As far as I know, there is no recall for an exhaust manifold or leaks repair, I could be wrong though.

Hi Steph,

I did post a message regarding recalls a while ago.

Disco Mike is rite your dealer will have a list of the work carried out on your Discovery and a list of outstanding issues to be done if there is any.
I posted this link where I found all the recalls for my Discovery.

http://www.theaa.com/allaboutcars/re...over&makeId=C3

I looked my truck up to give my self some piece of mind.
