Going to add driving lights to the 03 Disco. Would like to use the same harness the OEM fog lights are on. What's the highest amp or wattage that system will take before an upgrade is needed? Would like to continue the use of the standard fog lights. Would it be as simple as splicing in?

When i added an aftermarket bumper to my truck, I removed the factory fogs, I added a set of hella 90mm low beams into my bumper and spliced in a set of warn 8" lights onto the fog light circuit...I've no need for high beams with the lows and the warns covering like they do, so all my lights work like factory fogs. The warns had their own harness and all, I just spliced the power wire into the factory fog light wire so that when the factory fog circuit is on, the warns can be turned on as well...they have their own switch and all as well...But the warn harness is hooked to the battery on its own and has its own relay. Im not sure if this is the same situation you're in. I guess it would be the same as adding lights to a brushguard.
