Exclamation Where's the heat

My 2000 Disco gets up to temperature and will not produce any heat in the cabin. This issue comes and goes on occasion, but has now came and stayed. I have noticed that the truck wants to run hotter too. I would think thermostat, but it should be producing heaps of hot air in the cabin then.

I would guess the heater valve has gone south. Should be a valve between the block and the heater core that open and closes to control the amount of hot coolant flow.
