Default while they are at it..replace wires/oil pan gasket

I just had two heads machined after an overheating episode in my 2000 Disco II from a coolant hose bursting. the dealership is asking if I want to have the oil pan cleaned and gasket changed (for $550) and the wires replaced ($264) "while they are in there" to save labor costs in the future. Is this a sound idea? Or is it not necessary at this point? I get my oil changed regularly and have had little problems with my truck in the 5 years that I have owned it. thanks for input. Coleen

Wires. Yes!

Pan, maybe.

Be advsied, they shoudl NOT change any extra labor for the wires, par tonly.

Consider installing Magnacor 8 mm wires over auto parts store wires, you will get far better success.
