Or do I have it all wrong and have a leak?
I can't see any leaks, no puddles, coolant level hasn't decreased; but I can smell that sickly sweet smell of antifreeze. What gives? ![]() |

Thanks for the replies.
Sorry, no camera. OK,I checked closer for leaks around and under the engine for evidence of a leak. Found some orange goo under the throttle body. Also found plenty of info doing a search with the words "throttle body leak". I think I can tackle it on my own. One more question though, can I do a temporary fix by rerouting the inlet and outlet hoses to bypass the the throttle body until parts come in?

I had the same leak over a year ago, the new updated kit was not available so I bypassed the system with a small piece of copper pipe hooking the two ends together.
