Windsheald wipers Problem - Land Rovers Only

Ok I noticed this like month ago , but it happend only once , so I figured it was some kind of one time glich .

Well this morning going to work in the snow storm .
I had it set to 'intermediate' the lowest seting .

What happens that the wipers get stuck , like I would have a bad contact somewere to the wiper mottor . and they continue to be stuck untill i get out of 'intermediate' , I can leave them in 'low' and they work fine .

So it would look to me like it's a timing curcuit.

Did anyone had that happen to them ?

BTW it's Disco II .

I had one do that- the dealer replaced the whole motor assembly.

Sounds like the stop switch inside the wiper motor is beginning to fail. If that is the case, there is no repair, just replacement of the motor. The wiper switch can fail, but it is not very common.

our wipers are doing the same thing. working fine on constant and sticking upon return when on intermittent. any sugestions. how do i access the motor?

It is the stop or park switch that is failing. This is located in the wiper motor and the wholw wiper motot must be replaced to correct the problem.
