Wiper Arms? - Land Rovers Only

I have heard that the wiper arms from a DI will work on a DII & allow you to use regular wiper blades that you can buy from anywhere.

Is this correct?

You heard right, using D1 arms will allow you to buy cheaper refills at the auto parts store.

They also can provide for a larger swept area on the glass- they actually work better.
