Well all i can say is AWESOME!!!!
picked our new to me 2000 SE7...full load...ACE, sport package etc...thanks for all the help and input, this is a great choice!!!!! Had to drive her 200 miles home so i was able to enjoy it on the highway....Now i just need to take care of the power steering pump wine....will give Mike's trick a shot. One question...can the service engine light be read by a generic scanner or does it need to be a test book? truck drives/runs fine but the lights on and the guy i bought it off of said they tried to fix it a couple times to no avail (not sure if it was a LR dealer or not though) Thanks, Dean |

Dean,
Glad to hear you got your truck, time to get to work. Yes most scanners will read a code but not clear them. If you are going to tackle the p/s noise, might as well do the ACE at the same time. So go buy 2 bottles of Lucas p/s additive and 4 qts of vovolines synthetic p/s fluid. By the way, how many miles on her. When you get a chance go by the dealer with your vehicle regestration and have them give you a print out of your vehicles options, recalls and radio code. So when you going to post some pictures? Mike |

Don't do the dealer for toys, not much of a selection and too pricey. Just for shits and giggles take a look at the ultimate toy store, just don't get crazy yet there are lots of options.
http://www.expeditionexchange.com/ If you are married, don't tell your wife you got this from me. Do me a favor and crawl under and look at the fronty drive shaft, specifically the doble cardon set that hooks to the t/case, see if you can see grease fittings on those joints? Mike |

Dean,
Great looking Disco, I can see you are going to have some fun with this one. Do your self a favor and remove that rear step before you tear it off one weekend and ruin your first day off the road. Good Luck, Mike |
