Does anybody know if there is a shared electrical connection between the XYZ (Inhibitor) switch and the drivers door electric window?
The reason I ask this is because I have had problems with my XYZ switch, dropping into limp mode as I engage reverse and at the same time the one press opening of the drivers window did not work. The window is now working and the XTZ switch is not playing up. Linked or just a spooky coincidence?
Any suggestions ie shared earth location or the like would be greatfully accepted
What fault code number do you have. No, there is no common connection between the two.

Last time I put it on the computer the only fault was for the XYZ switch nothing else.
The fault on the XYZ swith seemed to occure when I engaged reverse just after doing a left hand turn. No problems after a right hand turn. Hence why I was thinking loose earth connection that just moved a little??? Or aM I just hoping I dont have to spend £300 on a switch??
How about you tell us what your truck is doing or not doing, any fault codes?
