Default ARB compressor install troubles...

Hi all... So I purchased the ARB CKMA12 permanent install compressor. It's been installed in the empty second battery compartment and looks slick and such... problem is that I cannot get it to work because I need access to the dash illumination and also the ignition in order to connect the compressor switch so that it know when the car is on... allowing the compressor to function only when the car is running. I do not know where I can access these wires from inside the engine compartment... I suppose I need to feed from the engine compartment into the cabin behind the dash...

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

...I know, I should have bought the portable model... i'm an ass

i did not use the pressure switch that activates the relay... but I am only using this thing to inflate tires on the LR3 and the trailer. Did I muck this one up?

Never mind... I solved this. Just had to modify the ARB wiring loom and now it's good to go. I can't use any lockers anyhow... so no need to include all that in the circuit. Thanks!

This lil' thing pumps decent enough!

Sure!

Nothing Fancy, just mounted to an aluminum bracket and fastened to the plastic housing of the spare battery compartment using self taping screws.

Power assembly was modified to use jumper style alligator clamps for clamping on to the battery terminals... kind of a semi-permanent install. I prefer it this way as install was a snap, and removal for use in any other vehicle would be quick and painless.
