I have a loaner, again. But this time it's a brand new 06' LR3 SE, LOADED! with only 6 miles on it.. well, it had 6 miles on it before I got my paws on it today. The problem is, they strip out all the documentation, accessories so I have no idea what the code or PIN is to utilize the bluetooth in the vehicle. My phone locates it just fine, but then asks for the code, which I do not have. So.. any help would be GREAT!!!
Thanks!!

You don't need a code to utilize the system.
what type of phone do you have. The Bluetooth module works with only certain phones with updates. Also to an SE is a base model. HSD is the top model. Your vehicle might have the module installed. You have to ask sales to see if the model had the additional bluetooth module purchased. Some dealers are ordering them with bluetooth and some are not. Just because its in the manual doesn't mean its there. |

I have a RAZR, by Motorola. I am familiar with the Land Rover product line, and the differences between the SE and HSE models. This particular unit is loaded with every option except the DVD Navigation, which includes the telephone package with Bluetooth.
When I set my Motorola to scan for available Bluetooth devices, it picks up LANDROVER on my display. Inorder to connect to the LANDROVER (I say it in all caps since that is how it is displayed on my RAZR) in prompts me for a PIN to connect to the truck. As stated previously, this is simply a service loaner that I am going to have until next week. They removed all manuals, etc so I posed the question on this forum to see if anyone has any insight on what the PIN might be or if I am really just retarded. (Don't ask my wife the last question, I'd hate to hear her answer). ![]()

Alright, I found it.. finally.
Landrover's default Bluetooth code is: 2121 Anyone who wishes to use this feature in their LR3 or Range Rover will need to use this code to bond the devices together. BTW, it works great!
