Default CD / Eject Issue

The 6CD changer in 2005 LR3 will not eject, play, or change--it gives an eject error message. Any ideas? I have heard disconnecting battery will cure this? I can't give a lot of detail--not my vehicle!

Thanks

This happened to me; it was a bad CD and the changer gave me an error before I could eject the disk. Then it wouldn't eject it, or any other CDs. I turned the radio off; probably "re-booted" the car and just gave it "time to think." Later on I turned the CD function on, hit the button corresponding to the bad-CD and immediately hit eject. It popped out and I threw the disk away!

Good luck.

Default No radio code needed

Don't worry about needing a radio code if you disconnect the battery.Land Rover stopped that in 05'

Thanks everyone. The vehicle is now ours and 'rebooting' the LR3 cured the CD problem--works great now!
