MB is correct, he knows his stuff, to determine your issue it will be critical to have the vehical scanned with a device. This information will determine the cause of the issue and then a resolution can be identified. Was the light flashing, steady or on then off again?
It's like your LR3 has the sniffles and the Dr. (scan tool) will figure out why, otherwise we would be guessing. Autozone or local auto parts place will scan for free and give you a print-out of the codes and possible resoultions.
Don't freak out, because they may give you 1000 resolutions that seem pretty scary/spendy. Bring those codes back here and these guys will steer you in the right direction.
Do not ignore this light as it will not go away on it's own and everyday you wait is possibly causing harm to your engine or other parts.
