Does anyone know how I can update my navigation program? I have a 2006 LR3 HSE and the navigation is dated. I live in a new subdivision and it does not pick it up. I recieved a Tom Tom GPS for Christmas and it had everything. I was able to find the secret button on the touch screen but it didn't allow me to update. Can someone help?????
***ALSO*** How do I get sound from the DVD. My kids can watch movies but there is no sound. (ARGGGG!!!!!!) ***ALSO*** When I first went to look at this LR3 at the dealer the keyfob was working now it doesn't. Neither does the spare. I had to pop the cap off of the driver side door handle and that is really ugly! I brought it to the Land Rover dealership in my area and they made me wait almost 2 hours before they told me that it is a wiring problem withtin the car and I would have to bring it back because they need more time. Needless to say the service guys looked really young (all of them) I figured maybe they were wet behind the ears. Can anyone help!!????!!!! I still Love my car though. People definately give you respect on the road when you are driving one. |

if you want an updated disc you have to buy one. look in your owners manual and there is a number from LR. Or you can go to NAVTEQ.COM. They are the supplier of discs for your system.
the remotes not working is a water leak from the a pillar outside panels or the sunroof drains not being cleared. the water runs down into the side of the vehicle and underneath the passenger side sill moulding there is a bundle of wires, about four inches in front of the seat you will find a very small green and white wire that is spliced together. there are three wires spliced together, you can see hte blue tape around the splice. they get so corroded they break, repair the wires and you will have remotes working again.

oh and the sound problem on the dvd system could be the wiring to the unit. Those rosen systems are different from the LR Ones. its possible its the unit itself. We cant really do much diag with those. Not like the head mounted dvd systems on the sports and range rovers.
oh and if you didnt buy it from that selling dealer prepare to wait or buy your own rental.
