Hello,
Just switched from a classic FJ60 LandCruiser to my first LandRover. So far, so good! However, I want to remove the middle seat headrest in the second row to improve rear visibility. Can't seem to figure out a way to remove the headrests on ANY seat! Any suggestions other than a strong hammer? Thanks. |

Everyone's neglect forced me to register.
Kneeling on the back-seat facing the headrest, push the headrest height button with your left hand, place your right hand at the base of the opposite post and push the button that is facing out. Now with your thumbs push both medal posts up until the headrest pops free. The right hand button is absolutely flush with the post bracket and is about the size of a quarter. You have to wedge your finger nail into it and suck-up the pain. I think I might try inserting a quarter into it next time. It would also help if you had someone else pull the headrest as you push both buttons, though this does build thumb strength and gives a wonderful feel of accomplishment. |
