Default Lesson learned the hard way

I was trying to save some money and had a local tire place, whom has a good reputation, put new tires on my 2005 LR3. Unfortunately, 2 of my rims are seriously gauged up on the edge! I assume this happened while either mounting the new tires or taking off the old tires. Are they responsible for for replacing my rims? I am so upset about this because my rims were in perfect condition.
I am also worried about my suspension now because I am reading that some tire places do not know how to properly lift a Land Rover and due to the type of suspension, they could damage it.

I would hold them liable for the damage. A few tire shop guys have tried to lift the vehicle from the compressor cover. It is next to the frame and that will break the bracket. That actually happened to me. The were going to have to reimburse me but I mentioned I needed new ires on my truck and I told them they could pay me or put a credit on my account for other tires they chose the credit so it did not cost them the full amount but I still got my money back in tires kind of a win win.

You will know if they crack the bracket your compressor will be LOUD.
