Lr3? - Land Rovers Only

i already own a 99 discovery 2. had some typical land rover problems. but i was just wondering if i buy an LR3, would it be more expensive to maintain than the series II. cuz its either that or a cadillac cts. if anyone has an opinion on that too, would be great. im 20 and not rich enough to pay for constant expensive maintenance. maybe the warranty would help?

If you get one under warranty it won't cost you anything to maintain for first 6 services (cept tires & brake pad type stuff)...don't get one w/o warranty.
