Default lr3 battery

Ive been getting all these different warning messages for some while now, they rang from transmission fault, to parking brake, to HDC not available. These faults only come up while i first crank the truck the instantly go away. Also there's be many times when i have been driving for some time, and i will all of the sudden get a " cruise control not available" message. i was told a while back when this first started happening that it was due to a bad battery, but i have never had any problems with the battery or the car starting, should i just replace the battery anyway?

If it's the original battery than yes, you should probably replace it. Weak batteries are known for causing similar symptoms.

I have an 05' LR3 as well and just replaced the battery for no other reason then it just died. At any rate before replacing the battery for no reason take it to your local gas station or Auto Zone and have them test it, they will tell you if the battery is preforming up to spec.
