Default LR3 Magnaflow Exhaust

As some of you may know Magnaflow is using my LR3 to do some design concepts of the new exhaust system that they are coming out with. Please share your thoughts. The 2nd set of pictures show the off-road version which I'm currently running on my LR3 now.

There is more low end torque and more overall power. The exhaust is a bit louder but not too loud. I will be sure to post some videos.

Thts is JUST what I need a more expensive exhaust system to bash the crap out of on the trail! I bet is sounds better when you drag it accross boulders than the stock system though.

I have taken My LR3 off road three times since the install of the Magnaflow system and have not had one issue.

I looked up "LR3 exhaust" in youtube and found some vids. They sound like weaksauce to me personally, not much louder than the stock system after 30,000 miles or so...or whenever some of the glass blows out of the mufflers. Then again this one appears to not have mufflers where the stock one does, and I don't know if the vids I saw have them either. I expected something throatier myself. Once mine is out of warranty, I plan to weld up a true dual setup that dumps in such a way that you cannot see or scrape it.

I am not saying that they will dent any more than the stock system. I am saying that IF you do any serious off-roading both will dent and why buy an expensive exhaust system if it is just going to get bashed up anyway? If you don't push the limits of the vehicle and you want to throw some money away on something that provides little, if any, real performance benefit than OK. As long as you are not under any false expectations.

How much did the system cost installed? And was your stock exhaust in need of replacing?
