Default LR3 Trailer Reciever Kit install

I'm looking to install a trailer hitch kit on my dad's 2006 LR3 SE. The physical hitch reciever looks to be a little bolt on, but the trailer wiring system looks more complicated according to the vague pictures on GTR. Anyone install this yourself? About how long, and any little tips and tricks to getting it done smoothly would be appreciated.

I did this myself on my 06 LR3. When I looked at the included diagram that came with the harness it looked confusing, but once I "opened up" the area behind the left tail-light it made perfect sense. It's literally a 15 minute job....the hardest part being raising and lowering the spare tire There's really no "tips" needed.

There's a crank inside the floor of the rear of the vehicle, but it's slightly different in the models with the third row vs. the one without a third row. Ones with the third row are a little more awkward to "crank" so that's why I said it was the hardest part for me (mine's a 3-row model).

Nope. It's just a tight fit and you can only turn about 90 degrees and have to remove the tool (It's the lug nut wrench), place back on the nut and crank again, repeat, repeat, repeat..... Really not a big deal, just kind of annoying.
