MP3 Oddities With LR3 Stock Radio
Have any of you had troubles with the stock unit reading MP3's?
So far I noticed 2 things:
1. Folder numbering starts one higher than actual: I burned a CDR with 6 folders of MP3's. The radio reads the disc as as having 7 folders starting with 2/7. All of the folders can be accessed, but there is no folder 1. Folder 1on CD=folder 2 on radio, Folder 2 on CD = Folder 3 on radio etc.
2. Some tracks run with no audio: The time clicks away on the track but there is no sound. I think this may be due to sampling rate as the manual mentioned something about DSP errors if sampling rate is too low.
Has anyone else experienced the above?
Also I am surprised that the radio does not display the names of the folders, artists, or song titles. I assume this is just a limitation of the unit, but I have seen this feature is less costly vehicles.
On the positive side, I am happy that the random play function works within the folders.
