Default Mushy Brakes

I own a 2006 LR3 with 36K on it and just had the brake pads (only) replaced. The shop said the rotors are fine and not even close to the minimum wear line (they were turned). The brakes are now mushy for lack of a better word. The parking brake and DHD work fine, but stopping seems a bit slower than before unless you nail the brakes.

Is this because I didn't put new rotors on?

Also, I don't know what kind of pads they put on.

Well all I can tell you is that you are NEVER to turn the LR3 rotors as they warp........

I would make that shop replace those rotors at their cost, as already mentioned, you never resurface a Rover rotor. You will find if you have them measured they are now under sized.
Two other things, what brand of brake pad did they use and did they do a complete 3 pint brake bleed?
