Need fix for ERROR code p0579-Cruise Control Multi-Function Input "A" Circuit Range/P

2006 lr3 v-6 68,000 miles
check engine light on
with error code p-0579
ps the cruise control is working!!

has any one have this problem and if so what was the fix for it

I have the same problem. Did you end up replacing the switches in the steering wheel?

im getting this code as well. did anyone replace the cruise control switches and not get the code?

Likely one of three, Broken wire (in column head) or clock spring, then switches. Most likely, most expensive Clock Spring, I also need one..
