Question New Lr3 Owner/is It Possible To Love Your Car Too Much?

OMG! I LOVE my new LR, 06 LR3. It is so perfect and what I always wanted. When I drive it I am smiling from ear to ear.

Problem is though, I feel very selfish when my dear husband (who surprised me with it) wants to drive it I worry over it more than I think I should. I LOVE this car and don't want anyone to touch it, ever!

Don't like my kids to eat in it, but do let my dog (who I also love too much) ride around and slobber all over it.

Think I have a problem or is this normal for a new owner of the best car on the road?

I hear ya!!! I got mine a few months back and lovin every minute =) gas prices can be as they may, I still want to drive everywhere!!! For $25 bucks I went to home depot and bought 7ft of indoor/outdoor carpet and just laid it over the folded seats to protect the carpet instead of buying the $200 mat. I think my dog found happiness in it too!

My wife feels the same way about her LR3 and that is the best reason to buy it. When she is happy, I am happy.

I do however leave the Rover to her most of the time. I like to shift for myself and the automatic in the LR3 just takes all the fun out of it for me.

When I do drive it, she yells at me for using the command shift. Still not the same without a clutch.
